Identify KTM/HQV/GG connector

The Maptuner uses the diagnostics port to communicate with the ECU of KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas motorcycles. There are two types of connectors depending on the year of manufacturing of the motorcycle. Use thing guide to identify if you have the old or new connector to make sure you get the right Maptuner cable for your ride.

OLD TYPE

You have the old type of connector if it’s white/translucent and looks like this picture:

The connector is located underneath the ECU. The connector is not accessible without removing the ECU first.

You need this cable to connect your Maptuner:

NEW TYPE

You have the new type of connector if it’s red and looks like this picture:

The connector is located to the side of the ECU. The connector is easily accessible without removing the ECU.
