MyMaptuner App Update 1.31.1
New features and support
- Unlock ECU — You can unlock compatible Polaris MG1 ECUs from the app. The screen shows vehicle details, lock status, and step-by-step progress. Slide to confirm before starting.
- Backup transmission (TCM) — New option to back up your transmission control module on the Polaris Ranger 1500, similar to other backup features.
- More vehicles supported — Added support for more Polaris and Indian models with matching vehicle icons.
- Pick several options at once — Some choice dialogs let you select more than one item before continuing (you must pick at least one).
Improvements
- Clearer labels in monitoring — “Parameters” are now called channels, and the old “Datalogs” section is labeled Data Analysis.
- Third-party tuning files — Tuning files from outside MapTun show a distinct icon; the help screen explains they are not from MapTun and who to contact for support.
- Easier vehicle list — Expanding a vehicle card scrolls smoothly into view; disabled buttons (Restore, Files, Features) explain why they are unavailable.
- Smarter syncing — Log files sync automatically after programming; backup-related work syncs when finished; removing a vehicle syncs first so nothing is left behind on the device.
- Safer backups — A backup is only created when no backup archive already exists.
- Phone stays awake — The screen stays on during longer programming or feature tasks so work is not interrupted.
- Better Android layout — The app uses the full screen correctly on newer Android phones.
- App updates — In-app update checks work more reliably.
- Sharing diagnostic files — Shared files use the correct file type so they open properly on other devices.
Bug fixes
- Unlock ECU — Clearer messages when something goes wrong, when the ECU is already unlocked, or when the feature has expired on your device.
- Dates on files — File dates display the correct month.
- Service and wizard screens — Layout and background colors corrected in a few places.
- Cloud icons — Download-from-cloud icons are consistent across the app.
